CTET After B.Ed: What You Need to Know

After completing B.Ed, you must clear the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or your state's TET to be eligible for government school teaching. CTET Paper I is for Classes 1–5; Paper II is for Classes 6–8. Most state teacher recruitment (KVS, NVS, state PSC) requires both B.Ed degree and CTET/TET qualification. CTET is conducted twice a year by CBSE. Start preparation from the 2nd year of your B.Ed programme.
