GATE Score Validity and M.Tech Admission
A GATE score is valid for 3 years from the year of passing. If you score well in GATE, you can apply for M.Tech admission in the same year or in subsequent years (up to 3 years) without re-appearing. Use your GATE score across multiple years if needed — aim for IIT/NIT first, and if seats aren't available in your preferred specialisation, consider NITs or private deemed universities as alternatives.
